  • All,

The DC Metro MSSA chapter will meet Wednesday June 2 at 7:30pm. Our guest speaker will be Ken Lahr, Owner of Reel Draggin’ Tackle, saltwater fishing instructor. Ken will be sharing offshore trolling tips and tactics for tuna, wahoo, & dolphin. We are all looking forward to the presentation.

DCMSSA members are active and as usual, we will be sharing fishing reports and tips. At the last meeting there were some great fishing reports/tips and as you can see from the Flickr photos that have been shared, the catch has been great also.

Additional meeting details will be updated as agenda is finalized.

Don’t miss the meeting, Wednesday June 2 at 7:30pm at 4805 Edgemoor ln, Room A, Bethesda, MD 20814 (Meeting Location). There is plenty of parking and the meeting room is only a block from the metro (red line, Bethesda station).

    Thanks,

  • We are pleased to announce our first chapter trip of 2010. This trip is highly anticipated in the wake of the December ‘09 trip being cancelled due to mother nature. The DCMSSA will venture out with Captain Greg Buckner on the “Miss Susie” out of Solomons Island, trolling for springtime rockfish. The date of the trip is Thursday April 22, 2010, departing the marina at 1pm. The cost for this trip is $100 (not including tip).

Details, preparation and post reports on Facebook DCMSSA Page Discussion Board.

Send in some pictures of your past rockfish catch via email to President@dcmssa.org – we’ll see how the first chapter trip of 2010 compares…

    Thanks,
    Jeremy
