The DC Metro MSSA chapter will meet Wednesday February 3 at 7:30pm. We have another great guest speaker lined up: Our guest speaker will be the well known and acclaimed light tackle/fly-fishing guide Captain Tom Hughes. He is a full time fly & light tackle fishing guide and has been guiding on ‘the flats’ since 2000. This will be a PowerPoint Slide presentation covering equipment, flies, lures, techniques, and productive locations.

Capt Tom will be telling us all about the fantastic early spring catch & release fishery on the Susquehanna Flats. It takes a lot of knowledge to fish the flats properly and be productive. Capt Tom will share some of the tips and tricks he has accumulated over the years. This will be a timely and informative presentation. Join us for tips and tricks to increase your success on the flats.

As usual, we will be sharing fishing reports and tips. I’ll bring some beverages and chips. Door prizes will be fantastic including some nice parachutes, bucktails, and offshore lures!

Don’t miss the meeting, Wednesday February 3 at 7:30pm at 4805 Edgemoor ln, Room A, Bethesda, MD 20814 (Meeting Location). There is plenty of parking and the meeting room is only a block from the metro (red line, Bethesda station).
