    • Looking forward to our rescheduled trip to the CBBT Monday with capt chuck fisher. Fingers are crossed for good weather. #
    • The weather better turn around for this weekend at the cbbt. We rescheduled our charter with Chuck Fisher for Mon Dec 21. #
    • CBBT charter is canceled again. This time for weather and mechanical problems on the boat we chartered. Tough fall for trips. #

  • DCMSSA Monthly Meeting – January 2010

    The next meeting of the DC Metro MSSA chapter will be Wednesday January 6 at 7:30pm. As always we will meet in Downtown Bethesda at 4805 Edgemoor Ln, Room A, Bethesda, MD 20814 (Meeting Location). There is plenty of parking and the location is one block from the metro (red line, Bethesda station).

    Captain Sean Crawford will be our guest speaker. In addition to being a fishing guide on the bay, Sean is an Oceanographer and will be presenting on Tides and Currents in the Chesapeake. Sean has over 20 years experience fishing the bay, and he is ready to share his tips. This will be an informative and useful presentation for all tidal anglers. Gary Richie, owner of the tackle company Spankin’ Stripers will also be at the meeting. Gary will educate us on when to use the different types of parachutes, bucktails and jigs that he makes, and have some of his tackle for sale.

    As usual, we will be sharing fishing reports and tips. I’ll bring some beverages and chips. Door prizes will be fantastic including some nice parachutes, bucktails, and offshore lures!
